This former one-horse town has grown to accommodate a four-lane highway. Movie theatres and malls sit on what used to be acres and acres of land. Columbus, Texas is constantly changing, evolving. And Fairbanks High School is no exception. While the school is sturdy and unchanging, each incoming class brings their own element to the school dynamic. Every choice a person makes invariably affects another.
Like real life, Sobriquet's plot is character-driven. Sub-plots supplement for life's surprises and stretch each character to his/her limits, helping each person find out just how much they can handle.
And in Columbus, there really is a lot to take in.
