Larkin, had no idea what to do today. She had been up all night having fun with people. Just being herself really. Running a hand through her dark hair she looked up at the ceiling. She was currently laying in her bed. Trying not to get too bored with counting the tiles on the ceiling. She swore up and down that this place use to be a therapist's office because of the tiles. They sorta annoyed her. She hated waking up looking at the same black and red tiles all the time. What annoyed her more were that they stayed the same number of tiles and never changed. She likes different things, she liked change.
Her sea green eyes jumped from the tiles to the clock as she glanced at the glowing numbers. It was almost one in the afternoon and on the weekend. With a yawn she sat up and looked around the dark room. She had black out curtains closed over the window. Throwing the covers off of her body she swung her legs over the edge of the bed till they landed on the cold wood floor and stood up, chills running up her spine from the lack of heat as she walked over to the curtains and pulled them back, wincing at the sunlight as it hit her face. She didn't need that really as she walked to her dresser pulling out fresh clothing for today. That included a tank top, a hoodie and a pair of skinny jeans along with purple vans. She opened the door to her bathroom before getting dress, folding the clothes on the desk and jumping into the shower. Quickly washing her hair and then jumping out. She decided to leave her hair curly for once and started pulling on clothes. Now, she looked at her cd collection. For some odd reason, she had the strongest urge to go to the music store. No reason why, but she went there often and she needed new strings for her guitar which hadn't survived the accident of her throwing it on the ground by accident. Lovely, she thought as she grabbed her keys and ipod, plugging the buds in before she left the door as she walked down the stairs and out of the house, not bothering to let Destiny know where she was going. She had a cellphone.
Larkin pulled out the keys to her old mustang convertible and unlocked the creaky door, pulling it open and slipping in. Once she was sitting down, she plugged the ipod in and started driving off, blasting Silverstein as she went. Once she finally reached the music store she pulled into a parking lot and got out, already feeling pretty happy about being there as she slipped into the store and started walking down isles.
She was a normal over here. They sold cds and instruments and anything you needed with the instruments. She was always there, looking at cds and organizing them, sorta like a employee but not really. She just liked organization. Walking towards the back she stopped at the guitar strings, staring at the assortment of brands and everything she could possibly need. Taking out her wallet that held a small amount of cash for this trip to the store. She counted out the money and picked a few packs of strings and some picks because knowing Larkin she would lose all of them in about four days because let's face it she wasn't the best at remembering where she put things down. She carried the few items in her hand as she carefully pulled out the ipod's earbuds from her ear and stuffed the ipod in her pocket.
Larkin was a old school kid to say the least. She liked to buy cds more than downloading. She liked supporting the artist even though she probably would have a million dollars if she didn't spend money on cds. Looking through the artist she wanted something new. She normally listened to anything. Her choice in music varied from classical to even rap when it was catchy enough for her. She sighed and looked through the cds, picking up some and putting them back. She was just hoping to find something good today.

we don't have anywhere to go but up so sit there and just watch us fall Well okay it was a saturday, not like she would be getting up or anything but Sparken had her first day of work today. She was hired to work five hours every saturday and sunday for the next four months. Sure it would take up most of her weekends but she desperately needed the money. Zach (her bass guitarist) broke the neck off of his bass and now she was somehow weasled into helping pay half for it. She also needed a new guitar but she wasn't exactly complaining. Sure it had a few scratches but she still had a good sound.
Sitting up in bed Sparken rubbed her head and turned her head to the right to see her completely white vanity and an image of a very ragged teenage girl in the mirror. She groaned and laid back down in bed. Looking at the time it was almost ten. She needed to be there by eleven so she had a little bit of time and she didn't need to shower...well...maybe she did. She sniffed her armpit and then winced. "oh gross!" She exclaimed as she put her arm down. Standing up she felt the warm rug under her toes. As she rubbed her head again she walked into the bathroom and then just stared at herself for a second then began to get to work. She hopped in the shower and cleaned herself up fast. Hopping back out she blowdried her hair and straightened it. her hair was naturally wavy but she really liked it straight. Putting on her makeup in one fast motion she ran back out into her bedroom and threw on a black and white tanktop and a whilte pair of skinny jeans. And a pair of british flag converse finished off the job. Grabbing her keys she waltzed out the door.
As she drove into the parking lot of the music store she turned down her blaring music and got out. She sighed quickly and then double checked her car doors to see if they were locked. She walked inside. She had been here many times before with Zach and Aries and she loved it a lot. But she wondered how fun it would be if she was just sitting behind the counter all day without touching the brand new instruments or searching through mounds of CDs.
Her boss had told her she could bring her guitar into work and play it if she wanted so she did. She smiled as she picked up her black guitar and started to strum www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-mTA9UHHk4 skipping the male part she sang loud but not so loud the whole store could hear it. As she played she looked over at the clock, it was just past 1 o'clock TAGGED ! She was lost in her own world honestly. That's what usually happened when she decided to go and just play with things in the store. She had a shitty attention span. Flipping through cds kept her attention though. She also went about straightening them out, putting them in alphabetical order. It bugged her sometimes when cds weren't alphabetical. The fact that she had all of her cds organized by band name was a example of how organized she was. But it was only with that, otherwise...Everything else was a mess. Her clothes were always scattered in her room, in piles, in corners. It was obvious she just left all of that a mess. It had to do with her being lazy.
Of course, there were some days when she wasn't lazy, actually those were the days when Destiny got after her about laundry. She knew she had her hands full with Daniel, who was also as lazy as Larkin when it came to household chores. It was fine though, at least she did the stuff and didn't beg Destiny like Daniel did. Not that he's that bad. He just whined. Sighing, she moved the bangs out of her green eyes and ran a hand all the way through her black hair.
She kept looking through cds though as she looked around the store, hearing the bell ring again as she put the My Chemical Romance cds in the M’s and not the N’s. She could of swore some of these people were probably dyslexic or something....Maybe they didn’t know the alphabet. She heard some guitar playing from the back. Larkin’s curiosity always go to the best of her. It was what she had to struggle with in school, that and the way things held her attention. Like school work for example, it never held her attention. She could find a squirrel more interesting then a text book. Now, books were a different story. Put them in front of her and she would read them all day and not stop. Of course, if it was a class where they asked questions and spoke, she could answer the question while reading. It surprised many of her teachers when she was younger. Walking towards the back, many things caught her attention but she kept walking once she stopped in front of a girl playing guitar. “Hey that was really good” Larkin was a friendly person. Only when fake people pissed her off she was a bitch, but the girl playing guitar looked friendly enough and that usually gave Larkin a reason to make friends.
