Uh hey, I'm Larkin Valentine Brown. Yeah, I know who the hell names their kid Larkin, especially a girl these days? Although, with all these newfangled names I wouldn’t be surprised because let’s face it. Being named Larkin is better than the name Apple ya dig? I like the words Ya Dig? I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because I’m a weirdo. But whatever, I won’t not admit I’m a weirdo because I am a terribly strange person. But anyways, enough about that. So yeah, call me Lark if you think that it’s better then Larkin. Call me Larky and I might kill you okay? Okay. I’m glad we got that straightened out. I’m as of now eighteen years old. I was born on a cool December day on the twelfth of December obviously, I don’t know why I said December twice...Maybe I like the ring of it? December December December December. Okay, I’m done sorry. Back on track. Anyways, I was born to two parents (I mean, that’s a given unless you’re parents are of the same sex then are they still called parents or are they called mom and partner?) Anyways, my parents Jean, which you pronounced as John and Rose Brown were pretty nice people, considering they had raised four other kids before me. They were one of those old couples who wanted a young child and well, they got me. I had three brothers and one sister. Destiny Brown she is as of right now thirty two? I think. My two older twin brothers Sebastian and Tony, they are thirty and my other sister Grace who is as of now twenty seven. Anyways, I guess I didn’t see them that much, considering that the only one I did know really well was Grace because she was only seven years older than me and not fifteen or ten years older. They were nice to me though, we had our sibling fights between me and Grace since she was the only one really around. "
I guess I was a little bit close to my brothers too, since they were around. Destiny was the only one who wasn’t around so much though. She was older and fifteen when I was born. When I reached five she was already off doing our own thing. We still talk though, I mean she still is my sister. No matter what the age difference is between us. Out of the twin boys Seb was the least annoying even though Tony was pretty cool. They were out of the house by the time I was ten, but I still had time to fight with them when I wanted to. We’re all close knit I think, considering we don’t really have time to talk to each other. I keep in touch with Grace and Seb more than the other two though. Yes, I guess that’s pretty shitty of me but what can I say? I liked them a bit better than the rest. They tried to treat me like I wasn’t the runt of the group even though I was. But enough of that. I was born in Long Island, New York in one of those nice little developments and everything. Perfect picture family? No, not really. We had our quarrels. Tony was the one to get pretty angry, Grace was quiet, Seb was a bit of a pyro and Destiny was a whore. We were quite far from perfect family, but my parents did the best to keep up appearances. What was wrong with me? I was just a tad bit...uhh...troublesome? Childish maybe? I was rather immature too. I lazed about in my house, not really caring at all about work. Okay, so I was lazy and needed some egging on to do. I needed a push in the right direction even though I usually never received that push, I guess that’s how I ended up here and not in some nice college.
My parents, both worked. Well it was hard supporting four kids and considering they had to put us all through college (well some of us, Tony decided to work as a mechanic and learned from the owner of the car shop he worked at and Destiny took up modeling and acting...So that left me, Seb and Grace left) It was hard, they didn’t have time to give up the love we really needed and I knew they meant well, they gave me the most, since A; I was the youngest and B; I was diagnosed with a personality disorder. What was that? Yeah, I’m bipolar. I was diagnosed with it when I was eleven. I was having bouts of depression because who the hell knew why. They took me to a doctor and boom! I was landed with some medication. I guess, that still didn’t keep me from doing all my weird habits, like putting my shoes on left foot first, keeping a wrist watch in my pocket and not on my wrist. I also tended to fidget while I spoke. They also said I was diagnosed with ADHD so, hell ....I’m a bit hyper?
After a few years on it I guess I calmed down a bit from my childish self. My parents kept working hard until...well, my mom died of lung cancer three years after I was diagnosed. I was fourteen when she died. Destiny had came home and started taking care of me and my dad since the other kids were off doing their own thing. I never seen my father so unhappy. He was a happy guy really, he didn’t have any problems with anyone as he worked his job as a owner of a comic book store. He just fell apart after my mother died and five months later he died too. Destiny decided to move into her old home, with her husband Daniel. He was nice too, not really mean or anything but I really wanted nothing to do with it. Then we picked up and moved here. I don't know why, but we're here in Trenton..Yay?

Spence, wasn't exactly sure where the hell she was. All she knew was that she was back in the U.S. She wasn't even sure what city she was in either. She had been in Canada for a while and only had been traveling for a few months. Now, she found a abandoned city with a few other human rogues or magi rogues. Who always looked at her with a sudden interest as she created a shadow cloud to surround her. No one was going to hurt her, she was going to make sure of that. She didn’t want to get hurt again. Her parents were dead. Her brother was dead. That was it, she had nothing left. Did a tiny voice in the back of her head tug, but no. She repressed those memories she repressed him. She didn’t want to remember him at all. Spencer kept her mind focused on surviving. She had to find food right? Well, that’s where she was going. The little house that Spencer found was pretty perfect for her. Some rouges had hooked up a generator to a string of houses and she resided in one of them they tried to make friends with her but she turned them away, not with her bitter disposition. But just by saying she rather be left alone. One girl, who was also a darkness magi lived with her though. After she found out that Spencer also had that power, well...Let’s just say she was a little too excited and sweet for Spence to say no. She lived quietly though and Spencer didn’t mind all that much. They both had their own rooms, they both ate food together. Twice the food was being brought in too. So, it all worked out.
Spencer grabbed a hoodie from her bed. She was wearing a multicolored stripped tank top. Which she covered by the hoodie and some skinny jeans. The dark haired bright eyed female slipped on her purple vans as she sat down, sinking into the mattress. Sure it was a shitty mattress but it was a bed. She was living with a roof over her head. That was all she needed to be freaking happy. There was that small annoying tug at the back of her mind as she pushed it away. She had been getting pretty good at not remembering him. Hell, she couldn’t recognize him if she ran into him. She would look at him like a stranger because that’s who he was. Just a stranger to her. Running a hand through her hair she shuffled down the stairs, passing the murmuring tv and looking into to see her room mate laying on the couch. “Hey, I’m going to find some food, hold down the fort will ya?” Spencer asked with a small smile. Never a big one a small one. She stopped with the smiling years ago. The girl looked up at her and suddenly she saw darkness cover the window. “Got it all covered Spence” She smiled at her and Spencer waved her hand, opening the front door and walking out into the darkness as she passed through the shadows.
It was a chilly night as she wrapped the hoodie closer to her skin and looked up at the night sky, shadows moved all around as she thought of them dancing in her mind, following her in case she needed them the most. Spence walked down the street and into the town. Nobody was up, everyone was in there house. Why? Vampires of course. There were some rogues that came out. Spencer did a great deal to avoid being their next meal. Her skin shivered as a gust of wind blew through her. “food...food...food” She said repeatedly to herself as she walked around and into the little gas station, grabbing some chips and microwave dinners that no one seemed to touch. She grabbed one of the go green bags and shoved them into the bag, throwing it over her shoulder and walking through the isles once more, grabbing a few cans of beer and soda and some water. It weighed her down but she didn’t care. Her bright green eyes moved up to the silent tv that was still on. Faces flashed before it, talking the vampires. She knew who they were. Apparently they were kind. She didn’t trust them. Spencer didn’t trust anyone, she didn’t even trust herself sometimes. Spencer looked away from the tv and started walking towards the door, opening it up and stepping out of the building. She hadn’t walked that far really. She wanted to stay out more though, walking back to her house she walked in and dropped the bag on the counter. “Here’s some food. I’m going out to look for more and stuff...I’ll be back” She picked up a sword, something they told every rogue human or magi to bring with them. She had found this one, stealing it out of one of those novelty shops. It worked though, she had only killed one but it was only because he was going to hurt her. Out went Spencer, out the door and out into the streets again. She started getting farther and farther from the neighborhood till she hit a certain section of woods. Fear attacked her and she had shadows follow her, knowing them...she made it so there was a shadow covering her back, keeping her hidden. Then there was a rustle. “WHO’S THERE!?” if that didn’t bring out a vampire then she didn’t know what would. She gripped onto her sword, her hands shaking. She really didn’t want to kill anyone tonight.
