He walked into the Starbucks Coffee place. It's walls were cream with a single mocha colored wall where the door was. The carpet was a dark wine color with gold and navy flecks here and there. The tables were circular and had four seats with iron backs making intricate designes. Honestly, he was amazed with this place. But of course, the coffee was so expensive that they could afford to do such things with their decor. It was still a nice difference from Dunkin' Donuts just down the street.
He walked up to the marble counter to a blonde woman with a rather eerie smile. "Can I get a chocolate chip cookie? And uhm...... just get me whatever you would recommend. Something a little sweet though." he said, smiling brightly. He was always a people person, despite his lovely scene kid looks. It caught the woman off guard for a moment, as if she thought he would have a deep grumble of a voice and request a black coffee. He just wasn't one of those people.
"Alright, sir." she said. She turned around and started brewing whatever it was she was going to give him, added a few things like sugar, carmal, and a bit of chocolate, and handed him the cup and a warm cookie. "Thank you for coming to Starbucks." she said, before handing him a reciept.
He sipped the drink, his eyes gazing over the price. He laughed lightly and handed her a gift card that he had gotten when he went to South Carolina. Once she handed it back, he took a seat at one of the many empty tables.
He looked around while munching on his cookie. There wasn't a lot of people here today for whatever reason. The only reason he came here was because he had a gift card. Otherwise he would be visiting the Dunkies instead, due to the fact that despite popular belief, him and his parents weren't rich. Just because his mother was a nurse didn't mean she had a good pay check every week.
Once his cookie was done he began to attempt to finish off his coffee. Coffee wasn't something that Kodi was supposed to drink. Really. This kid was hyper active and not in a good way. In about thirty minutes to an hour he would be bouncing off of the walls of this lovely establishment, and then it would simply be one of the few coffee shops he wasn't allowed to return to.
"For some reason, I wanna watch Finding Nemo." he said, rather loudly. He got a few looks, and it only made him laugh. So what if he was a high schooler wanting to watch a five year old movie? It was the art! The art!
He turned around to look when the door opened, curious as to who it was. Wait..... didn't that girl go to his school?!

Destiny totally lied to her brother. She wasn't going to the mall for a quick thing, she was going to Starbucks. He hated it when she got coffee, she went off the walls. Coffee was never good for her, she always well, seemed to act like she was five, and would bounce around, and usually end up getting kicked out and yelled at for it. But she never really minded that much. Because her house was really only a few blocks from the Starbucks and the mall, she walked. Probably not her best idea in heels, but she wanted to break them in before homecoming anyway. So she might as well wear them.
She walked down the street, her gray bag hitting against her right hip softly, not really bothering her that much. It had her wallet, and most of her make up. She always carried her make up with her, she always needed to touch up her make up. She was always smudging her, or wearing it off or something. She was terrible at keeping it on. It never seemed to just stay. What ever, she looked alright in her dark washed shorts, and her gray zip up sweatshirt, which was open.
She had a black tank top on underneath her open sweathshirt, and the lace from the top of her bra stuck out, which she didn't mind that much, it added a little bit off affect to her top in her mind, while her mother always yelled at her to hide her bra and stuff like that. It wasn't like she was a whore or a slut or anything like that! No way. She was more, just a little showy. She didn't mind it that much, she found all the looks from the guys very, well. She loved them.
She walked into the little coffee shop, and instantly fell in love with the smell of fresh coffee. It just smelled so good, that she just didn't know what to do with herself. She really wanted an ice coffee though, she wasn't a fan of hot coffee. It had to be ice coffee for her to like it. She walked up to the counter. "Hi! Can I have a large ice coffee with extra extra please?" she asked sweetly. She gave the girl six dollars and waited for the girl to make it up for her.
She got her change and looked around, she hated to sit alone, but she wanted to sit with someone she could at least talk to. her blue eyes landed on a boy, who was looking at her. She bounded up to him, she was much shorter then him, being only 5'4'' and all. She looked up at him and smiled. "Hello! I've seen you around the high school haven't I? I'm Destiny!" she said cheerfully.
Over hyper personality? Maybe just a little.

Kodi gave his signature idiotic grin when the girl walked up to him. So her name was Destiny? He was pretty sure they had their Science class together. But maybe that was just him going crazy. "I'm Kodiak. Call me Kodi though. Everyone does." he said, laughing lightly.
"Our hair totally matches." he said, trying to start random conversation. He wasn't one to be a girly kind of gay, but on coffee, he was a little more out there. Of course, he wasn't going to wear pink and do the gay-guy flip, but saying things like 'totally' was sometimes in his vocabulary.
"Sit down! I hate sitting alone. It gets really boring. Besides, I have yet to make a friend out of you so I need to try my hand at that!" he said, grinning again. He took a drink from his coffee, enjoying the sweet taste, and how the coffee taste hadn't been totally drowned out of it. He enjoyed that taste, and not the way of 'drinking coffee is cool'. He didn't think it was. Just like smoking didn't make you cool.
"You're in my grade, right? Don't you have a brother or something? I think I've seen you both in the hallways a few times." he said, making rather odd hand movements as he talked. Have you ever tried to sit there and not move your hands? It was like torture, really.

Destiny sipped at her large ice coffee, quiet happy with herself now. the taste of coffee, only iced though, was so good. You could bribe her to do just about anything for money to buy ice coffee. Granted, she still liked Dunkies coffee a whole lot better then Starbucks but that was alright. Des smiled sweetly at him and nodded, still sipping at her ice coffee.
She giggled slightly, it wasn't one of those flirty giggles, it was a regular old giggle and she nodded again. "It does! I like it" she said sweetly. She was overly sweet, what could she do? She blinked her bright blue eyes happily. She liked all of her friends, and she needed a gay one now. What girl did not have a gay guy who was their best friend? That is one of the things that you need more then anything before you graduate high school. A girl just needs to have a gay best friend, who could tell her what he thinks without being a sexiest pig about it.
Destiny smiled at him. "Yes! I think i need to make a very good friend out of you! You're just like me, hyper active!" she said. She sat down at the table and looked at him with huge blue eyes. Sipping at her coffee again, she looked very happy with it, She pulled her tank top up a bit, realizing that it had been slowly creeping down her chest. She didn't need anyone looking down her shirt, not that she had much to show off anyway.
"I am! We have...Chem together i think! And yes. Blake? He's my twin brother." She said giggling at his very odd hand movements. She couldn't help it. they were funny to her. She took another sip of her coffee, keeping her perfectly painted finger tips wrapped around the cup.
