PHYSICAL APPEARENCE:Mimi is a very small girl. She doesn’t have a lot of meat on her, and she isn’t that strong. Besides that, Mimi is a very beautiful girl. Even with her paper-white skin. She has big, bright blue eyes that are unmistakable, her curl red/brown hair, and her figure. On the outside, she is very shy looking that could fool anyone. She’s a ghostly white even though she’s Italian. It kind of catches people off guard at first, but then they get over it. Her hair changes shades as the seasons go by. When it’s a hotter temperature outside, her hair is kind of a reddish color. However, when it’s colder, her hair goes to a very dark brown. The girl doesn’t know it, but she has a very nice smile to end everything off. her body is built for gymnastics. She is very small, but shapely. She has a lot of upper body strength from working on the bars for years. However, her arms are the only strength in her body.

If you do get her angry, you have done something so horrible to her that it can’t even be described.
Overall: Well, to sum it all up, she is not afraid to meet people, she is never showing of her sadness, and she tries all the time to be a good friend. No one thinks that ‘shy’ is even in her dictionary. She does tend to be somewhat sarcastic, but what teenager isn’t? She loves to make jokes, but usually she’s not the one making them. She’s just the one smiling and laughing.

HISTORY:What? You think everyone’s history turns out the same? Something horrible happens to a parents then the child is left with the single parent? Well, think again. This tragic tale begins with little Mimi. Mimi means something about a bitter child, but it also means star of the sea. Which are two things that contradict her. Mimi thinks it’s kind of funny however. Mimi’s family was not all that rich you see, so, they had a hard time getting by with everything. They were barely able to pay for their two children to attend public school and get an education, but they managed to pull up enough money thanks to the grandparents. She learned how to play the piano on her own by scavenging books and music tapes. She loves the sound of minor keys. Gymnastics is another story however. Her mom did it and she wanted her daughter to do it. Her mom taught her up until the horrid day. She was able to practice at a local place and she is pretty limber and really good for someone without an actual teacher. She is in love with the bars, but her hands have a lot of calluses on them.
Mimi acts like nothing bad has happened in her life, but she is a very good actress. She got made fun of by richer kids all the way through freshman year of high school, but people stopped after the accidents. She hates talking about them, and they are the only things in the world that could even make her tear up just a little bit. Imagine a thirteen-year-old girl losing things that made her happiest in the world. Her mom getting cancer and dying, and then the whole incident with drunk driving with her father and brother. The teenage girl just didn’t have much to do with her life afterwards. Expanding on the accidents. Her mom. She ‘stopped’ smoking when Mimi was six or seven, but continued to do it in secret. Now, Mimi had no idea, but the father did and Luzio found out. No one told her because no one wanted her to worry. Rossetta Gilliam got cancer April second of her eighth grade year. She died July fourth. Now, she was very, very sad, and grieved like nobody’s business, but she still acted like her normal self. The night: her thirteenth birthday. The cause of death: drunk driver. Ilario and Luzio went out to go get a specially made cake from the baker’s for Mimi, but they didn’t exactly come back. A drunk driver hit them; the deaths were almost instant.
Now, after getting a call from the police and seeing the body bags on the street, she knew she had nothing left to do. She was put in a foster care until two people who were visiting from the United States adopted her. Lisa and John Jones. Her saviors. She would have been kicked in the streets when she turned sixteen probably. No one who came to adopt a kid would even take a second glance at her. Of course, this adoption took a longer process since they were foreigners, but the foster people knew that she didn’t have much options left. They soon departed back to this state called California of a town called Trenton. She was sixteen when this all happened. When they got back, she was so lost and confused. She had no idea what to do. John and Lisa didn’t make her start school until the next year however to get her to learn English and things she would need everyday in school.
