Ryan is a sixteen year old boy from a town called Portsmouth in the south of England who moved to Trenton because of his dad getting another job and being transferred, this all happened when Ryan was around 9 years old. At first Ryan hated Trenton, he had no friends here, all his friends were back in Portsmouth, he thought the people here were nothing but freaks but then after about 6 months of living here he began to fall in love with it, the people seemed less freaky and more friendly and life was on a general upside for Ryan. About 4 months this Ryan's mother and father divorced. His mother moved back to Portsmouth but Ryan thought it'd be best to stay out in Trenton with his father. Ryan's Father didn't take the divorce too well and became a drug addict and eventually overdosed when Ryan was 15 leaving him to fend for himself. To start with, Ryan couldn't cope with out his father at all he would find himself having random break downs in public and having to be consoled by the closest stranger or friend. After a few months Ryan became accustomed to the passing of his father and the fact that he had to fend for himself and deal with his own mistakes without anyone being there to help him along the way.
If theres one thing Ryan loves is music, it's what helped him get through his parents divorce and his fathers overdose, he thinks it's the most powerful weapon and healer in the world. Ryan is a guitarist and a singer and tries his hardest to keep a stable band up together but fails each time so he now goes it alone and is attempting to kick start his solo musical career of just him, his acoustic guitar and a microphone.
Another thing that Ryan cant seem to keep is a relationship, he has to be the stereotypical hopeless romantic, since he moved to Trenton hes had about 3 girlfriends, all lasted less than a week, no matter how lovely Ryan is to the girls, they always seem to just throw it back into his face. No matter how many girls knock Ryan down he always manages to pick himself up and dust himself off because he knows at the end of the day there are always plenty more fish in the sea.
Ryan has quite a positive outlook on life, he lives every day as if it is his last, as if he may never get a chance to do things the same the next day, this is mainly inspired by his mother who always told him as a child to live life to the full with no regrets, if theres something you want to do then do it. Ryan has stuck by these words all his life and always will.

Lily stood just at the opening to Diagon Alley from The Leaky Cauldron. She, her parents Mark and Allison and her sister Petunia had just returned to shop for her new school supplies. Though, Her parents and sister have stayed back in The Leaky Cauldron because Lily had told them she was going to meet up with some of her friends. All older then she was but it was all good to her. Friends were friends no matter the age difference.
Lily walked through the opening and like the last two years, she turned to watch the brick doorway to move it's way back into a brick wall. She then turned back around and smiled at all the brightly lit shops and the other witches and wizards faces. She especially liked to see the first year students or even younger, underage witches and wizards go wild with seeing the new broomsticks or the animals or anything else from all the other shops in Diagon Alley.
