DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Hannah has a birthmark on her wrist which sort of looks like a distorted feather if you look really, really closely. She also has two piercings in each ear, and one in her right cartilage.
PHYSICAL APPEARENCE:

Hannah is of medium height and average weight, which is muscle for the most part. She's an avid sports player, and you can tell. Her skin tans well in the summer and normally retains enough of that tan throughout the winter and spring to keep herself healthy looking. If she had to pick a favorite feature of hers, she would probably pick her hair because it's mostly straight with a slight wave that she says gives it personality. Because of this, she normally leaves it down unless it's required to put it up. Her makeup is mostly neutral, with a little eyeliner and eyeshadow to highlight her green/brown eyes, which Hannah thinks look like swamp muck.

CLOTHING STYLE:

Hannah is perfectly happy in a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt, and she usually finds that a decent enough look for school, though sometimes she'll wear skirts and pretty tops just to change things up a bit. The main color palette of her clothes is blacks, whites and the occasional bright color that will pop against the rest of her outfit. She keeps things pretty low key.

STRENGTHS: Hannah has an interesting memory, which is selective only to history and English. If she hears it once, she'll most likely remember it well enough. Hannah is also very good at sports, growing up surrounded by her best friends, who were mostly guys. It's almost as if rugby and softball, and any other sport for that matter, just come to her naturally. Finally, Hannah can climb a tree in record time. Ever since she was little, she's liked to climb up on anything she can, including counter tops and cabinets, roofs and ladders. Mostly, though, she would climb trees like a monkey, and has retained that ability to this day, inspiring the nickname her dad gave to her.
WEAKNESSES: Hannah has a quick temper and is quick to lash out with words, but mostly though physical violence. She has a weakness for anything with chocolate, though I'm sure that's not what you're looking for. Hannah is also very unstable emotionally. The littlest things can change her mood in a snap, as she has undiagnosed bipolar, even though she doesn't know it.
GOALS: Hannah currently can't wait to graduate, and that's her very obvious dream, but beyond that, she'd love to become a teacher.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:

Hannah has a temper like dynamite and you're the match. She's quick to resort to physical violence when her words just don't come out fast enough for her liking, even though she likes to argue. Being a lawyer would be awesome for her, if only she were patient enough to listen to other people's arguments before trying to interject with her own opinion. It's not that she's particularly opinionated, but she's impatient to make her thoughts known.

Hannah is, however, very patient when deciding who she should trust. She's cautious and careful and the littlest things can make her distrust you, though she believes that if you're willing to put in the effort to be friends with her, you might just be worth it. She loves those who have put in the effort and come out successful, though, and she definitely considers them her very close friends. It's not that she's against friends, it's that she finds it hard to trust people.

Finally, Hannah's greatest love is soccer, which takes front seat to any other sports. Soccer is her life, the air she breathes and the thoughts she dreams. Rarely would she ever pass up the opportunity to play a game of soccer with anyone, even though she gets fiercely annoyed when they aren't quite as good as she is. She's not exceptional, of course, and is by no means the best player in the world, but her dedication has made her ability to play the sport seem as if it's been embedded into her genes.

HISTORY:

Hannah's name had originally been India. At least, that's what Thisbe had intended to write on the birth certificate. India Hannah Hollis. God, it had such a beautiful ring to it, the only problem being Jackson's disliking of the name. But to Thisbe, it didn't matter. India was a beautiful, exotic place, full of elephants and bright birds circling on wings of gold and red. Thisbe had always dreamed of India, of saris and spices, forgetting--maybe intentionally--that India was full of poverty, which was exactly why Jackson hated it. In his opinion, India would be a curse of a name, almost as awful as Thisbe, which his wife seemed to love and Jackson himself found off-putting. His first daughter would not be named something that was unique and exotic, because unique and exotic called for teasing. She would be named something pretty and popular, too common for anyone to make a halfway decent joke out of. So, when Thisbe sent her husband to sign the birth certificate, Jackson smiled to himself and calmly printed the name HANNAH INDIA HOLLIS. At first, Thisbe had been mad, insisting that her daughter be called India, even if it wasn't her first name, but her sister explained to her how irrational that was. India was pretty, but Hannah was practical, after all.

A year later, Thisbe had learned from her tiny temper tantrum that unique names looked nice on paper, but not everyone liked them. It was only when there was no going back when her sister had admitted that all along, she'd thought that the name India just wasn't a girl's name. So, Thisbe's new baby girl was named Lindsey Rain Hollis as opposed to the Autumn Rain Hollis she'd dreamed about practically since childhood.

Hannah grew up in a neighbourhood full of boys roughly her age, teaching her things like soccer and kickball, which she found herself almost addicted to. On cool summer nights, Hannah could hardly be bothered to put on bug spray, she so wanted to be out playing soccer with her best friends. Lindsey joined in for a couple years, too, during that period of time when little sisters mimic their older sister's every move. Soon, though, Lindsey got bored of grass stains and skinned knees, instead pulling on sparkly blue gowns and calling herself Cinderella. Hannah didn't care, as she was more engrossed with sports than in anything her sister was doing, the snot-nosed little brat.

When Hannah was eleven, her mother's sister, Launcey, died in a car accident along with Hannah's uncle and cousin, Nina, who was fourteen at the time. The only one who survived was Stephanie, who was Hannah's age and whom the Hollis family quickly took in, making it easier on the girl by moving to Trenton, where it would be much easier for Stephanie to move on.
