Cameoing: Gabriel Taylor Adams. 19. Homeless Runaway. Mentally Disturbed. Armed and Dangerous.
The Gates were closed but opportunity had knocked, and found another way in. Gabriel sat against one of the small shops that populated the community, the prices of their products almost higher than the ego of their clientele. His eyes were shut, head leaned against the rough brick wall. Charcoal hair, not the fake dyed hair that populated the strands of the 'emo' kids, hung in matted strands around a pale, scarred face. The scars were what made him interesting, at least at first glance. The smallest nicked the corner of his mouth, curling it into a sneer. The longest nearly cut the corner of the eye on the opposite side of his face, the only intruder to the untouched right side (or left, depending on personal view or not). There were four altogether, and they weren't white as scars tended to be, but black, like frostbitten skin. Odd.
They certainly drew a second glance, and then one noticed more. The blank, deadpan expression in his pale eyes, the smile on his lips. The touch of madness on his face. His hands, palms against the pavement of the sidewalk, shoulders set. The jeans he wore were ripped and worn through in many places. It wasn't a fashion statement, not some artful choice by the designer - they had simply worn out. His shirt was a simple white one, a thigh-length, battered trench coat completely the outfit. What stuck out, mostly because this was a Gate Community, was his bare feet.
He'd climbed over the wall bare foot.
Humming softly to himself, his eyes opened and flicked down the walk. Anyone coming would have to step over him, or walk around. He was quite a nuisance, legs sprawled out, his few belongings beside him and making it difficult - unless one wanted to leap. The song he hummed seemed rather random, trailing from one ditty to the next. Around time one might recognize the tune, it switched to something else. He sighed, stopped humming, and looked around. Boring place, gated communities.
What would they have here that he couldn't find elsewhere?

Zane had gotten up around 4.45 in the morning, and was getting ready to take Molly, his 3 year old Pit Bull for a run. He ran quite a few miles in the morning, Since he didn't get a real chance to take her out later in the day for ling runs. Molly, was fed and ready to run. He left a note saying he would be out for about an hour. maybe two, depending on how he felt. Grabbing the leash, Molly came running towards him, sliding to a halt, her tail wagging. ''yeah, yeah, I'm going. C'mon you giant goofball.'' Zane said when she got close enough, he attached the the leash to her collar. Grabbing a water bottle, they were out the door. Molly pulling at the leash, wanting to get going. They walked out into the brisk cool morning. It was still kinda dark out. but the sun was just starting to come out.
Zane stretched his legs before starting running, Molly running beside him at a nice pace. They ran up and down half hills, through parks, by Trenton Plaza. They ran for about an hour and fifteen minutes before slowing to a walk. They were in the gated homes area. He stopped and took a few swigs of water from the water bottle he had in his now sweaty palm.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw someone climb over the wall of one of the houses in this area. He raised an eyebrow. the light from the sun now in the air, He hadn't seen this person before. His jeans were torn. Molly barked at a squirrel "Molly. shush'' He said softly, The other teen, at least he was assuming was a teen, hadn't heard. If he had, he hadn't taken notice. Zane walked across the street hesitantly, and looked over the wall, a twig snapped when Molly stepped on one. He froze.

Gabriel heard the initial snuffling of the dog first. He perked up, curious. The boy himself had never owned a dog, but they had always been objects of interest. Undying loyalty, mans best friend, all that ....
Bullshit.
The twig snapped. Tense as a wire, his hand automatically went to his coat, where he kept ... things. Frowning, Gabriel glanced up at the wall to his right, as if expecting something much more bizarre than some kid gawking at him. Gabriel realized he'd been messing with his scars and let his hand drop to the pavement. His foot scraped across the ground as he stood, looking almost painful. He didn't seem to nice. Leaving his things on the ground, one hand still in his coat, he started to climb the wall back over.
His momentary expression of grim determination vanished and he realized he might need two hands. With a sigh, Gabriel used both, leaving whatever it was he'd been holding behind in his pocket. What the hell was he looking at? Scowling, Gabriel sprang over the last bit, nearly landing on a large critter that turned out to be a dog. A pitbull, no less. He took a quick step back. Not because he was scared of it, but his sudden appearance had probably startled it.
He might have been crazy, but he wasn't an idiot. Now he looked at the boy, hand going back into his coat pocket, fingers wrapped around the handle of a knife. After a beat his fingers found something else, and he tossed it on the pavement - a pizza crust. Why Gabriel still had it was beyond anyone, but the point was, he had it. Then, almost nonchalantly, Gabriel pulled out a knife and cleaned nonexistent nails - he'd chewed them all off (or something), you see. So it probably looked like he was about to slice his fingertips off.
"Any reason you followed me over here?" Gabriel asked, half muttering. Maybe he was talking to himself? Who knew.

Zane's eyes widened, highly startled when a teenager, a few years older than himself, jumped over the wall, nearly landing on Molly. He pulled Molly, her, between his legs. She sat there totally oblivious as to how dire this situation could possibly get. Eyes widening even more, when the teen pulled out a knife, He backed up a couple feet, pulling Molly with him. She didn't want to move though. She was curious about the man in front of her. ''Molly...'' Zane said voice worried, his Italian accent was very clear She was far too curious for her own good. She dragged him forward, when she walked, wait... more like dragged Zane over to the teen with the knife.
Molly started to sniff his feet, then preceded to lick it once. Zane watched in horror. Praying this older teen wouldn't hurt his dog. ''Uh... I... know why I came over. I've never seen anything... fishy going around this area. I take this route when I take Molly for her morning run. I’m not from this area of town Zane said slowly inching away from the other teen, who was just standing there fiddling with the knife. Zane hoped he didn’t cut his fingertips.
Zane wanted to desperately dash away. He knew this situation could easily turn deadly, if he even twitched in the wrong way. He stared at his dog, shocked, that she sat down next to the other male. He bit his lip, and eyed the other warily, his breathing slightly heavy, having just run about seven miles.
Zane watched Molly who was sitting there, cool as a cucumber. She seemed to like the guy with the knife. However, she didn’t know he had a knife. In his head, he was having that desperate debate going on in his head about what he could do. He hadn’t ever been in this predicament before, and to tell you the truth. He was utterly terrified. He had that gut feeling that he should have just ignored what he saw and continued on his way. He’d be home by now, eating breakfast. But no… his curiosity got the best of him and he just HAD to investigate. He was regretting it big time now.

A thought seemed to hit Gabriel as he 'cleaned his nails', and he blinked a few times, glancing up. For a moment he looked rather confused, as if he'd stumbled into a world quite unlike his own. Then again, this one wasn't like the thoughts dashing madly through his head. He chewed his lip a while, thoughtfully. The dog sidled up to him, more curious than anything, and his fingers tightened on his knife handle, skin white against the knuckles. A half-smile darted over his face as the dog licked his toes. It felt funny.
"There probably isn't a lot of 'fishy' going 'round here," Gabriel murmured. He looked up, and the mad gleam flickered in his eyes. He grinned, scars twisting it into a sort of sneer. "I'm not from here at all."
After a beat, the confusion returned, and he glanced around. Then down at his feet, as if to say 'where the hell are my shoes?'. A quirky half-frown bent his lips, a hum in the back of his throat. A glance up and he noted the sun on the skyline, scowl deepening. Gabriel crouched by the dog, arms balanced on his knees, petted her behind the ear. Molly. He committed it to memory. Had he ever known a Molly?
Not that he could remember.
"Not really sure where 'here' is," Gabriel said honestly, voice still low, almost hoarse - as if he didn't use it a lot. He didn't carry a lot of conversations as of late. They seemed to be rather one-sided, and rather dull. It almost seemed as if he'd forgotten the knife he held in his hand, raising the limb as he straightened up, ruffling his own hair. Yet, somehow, he managed to keep from cutting himself.
Damn the dog, this would be easier, more fun - less hazardous - without the dog. As a general rule Gabriel didn't hurt animals - most of them, anyway. There had been the exception, there was always an exception ... Gabriel looked up, jabbed out as if to stab the dog's master. Yet the knife tip, although close, didn't nick skin or clothes.
"It's kind of a bad idea to go walking in strange neighborhoods so early," Gabriel remarked, looking almost nonchalant. One hand, the knife, fell back to his side. The other scratched at Molly's ear. He had a grim expression on his face; as if someone had died. "This early ... no one else out. About. No one to see."
To Gabriel the words didn't have a lot of meaning, he mostly echoed what he heard, in his state as of late. No, it was probably just gibberish anyway.

Zane continued to watch the other teen warily. Again that gut feeling telling him something would happen. His hand tightening on the leash when, he saw the others hand tighten around the hilt of the knife, when Molly licked his foot. He wanted to get Molly out of here. Out of here and home. He himself wanted to get out and forget this even happened. He was afraid. What would happen if something happened to him? The way the older teen was holding the knife made him think he was going to attack. He hoped it wasn't Molly. Meaning it would probably be him that the other teenager would attack. He was balancing on the tip of his toes, ready for an attack. He knew if something were to happen, Molly wouldn't hesitate to attack. Even if she did like this man.
''Yea.. I can tell you’re not from around here. You are in Trenton California. This is more of the rich area of town I guess you could say... I'm pretty sure I'd remember seeing you around... Zane said with his brows furrowed. When the teen moved to stand up straight again, he moved back a few inches. Zane's gut feeling had been true. The other guy's arm jabbed out; he jumped back, the knife missing him. Molly reacted in the exact way he expected her too. She growled menacingly, snapping her teeth. Zane was shocked. Well... kind of. He wasn't surprised. He disturbed some crazy guys rest. Which he was regretting hands down right now.
When the other teenager patted Molly's head again, it was like she was possessed by something. She snapped her jaws, on the hand patting her. Zane's eyes widened, when she let go, he pulled her back, almost violently. He knelt down patting her head; they were a good five feet away from the other guy now. He stood up, eyes wide with terror. Molly stood there, still growling, the hackles on the back of her neck raised, she was totally ready to protect her owner. Her face was stained red with blood.
'shit.. This is bad... really, really bad Zane thought. He looked at his watch quickly; before looking back at the other guy. It was about 6:15, if he didn’t get home soon, he’d be late for school. Zane tilted his head, the morning rays shining on the scars on his neck, arm, and legs. Those scars from the accident, the accident that almost killed him. ''Yea I know it's fucking early. I've been running on these streets this early for two and a half years, never had a problem before now. No one will see, because I'm about to be fucking gone.'' Zane said voice harsh, edging away even more, ready to bolt if required.

Ow. Damn the bitch, he thought, drawing his hand back. She'd punctured it all right. He scowled, examining the handful of holes in the top of his hand. At least she hadn't hit an artery. He didn't seem to mind too much, at least not yet. His emotions rippled from one scene to the other at times. This morning ... well, he felt relatively calm.
Gabriel watched the entire episode, more perplexed than annoyed. Ah. He lowered the knife, put it away. No sense in being over dramatic. The grin flickered to life, and he glanced behind him. Molly wasn't happy.
"California," Gabriel murmured, looking over the streets. Made since. It wasn't even past dawn yet and already it was getting pretty warm. Damn. How he ended up here? Twas a long way from Destined Falls and the other places. They were east coast towns, or as close as one could get to being so. This was ... across the country.
Did I walk all the way? Gabriel thought, frowning. The boy hugged his arms over his chest, rocking from the tips of his toes to his heels. It wasn't a gesture of insanity - Gabriel was just bored. He glanced down at the dog, noting the boy's concern for the beast. For a moment he felt like laughing. Gabriel didn't seem to notice he was smearing blood on his jacket. After a beat he took a couple of steps forward, closing part of the gap between them.
"You're one of the few not stupid people I've met," Gabriel remarked. "I commend you. I'm not going to stab you or the dog, but if you leave, I won't be happy." There wasn't a threat, just a silent promise. Gabriel shifted the coat, revealing a gun held at his hip. The coat fell back in to place. His hand was dripping all over the sidewalk. What a mess.
"Just stand here and talk a while. You can finish your run later." Gabriel scowled, realizing he'd left his things over the fence. Dammit. He'd have to improvise something for his hand. Molly was still looking pretty ticked. "You're dog is smarter than most people are." He didn't sound bitter about it, just ... making a statement.

Zane watched, his brows furrowing, he looked down at Molly. He hadn't ever seen her this riled up... never. He's seen her growls and snarl... but never ever has she bitten someone. His hand went to his pocket. He always carried gauze in his pocket, in case he cut, he sometimes did during these run, the adrenaline was pumping, and he’d just cut once, and then put gauze over it. ''...I have gauze... If you would like to use it for your hand. I’m sorry....... she bit you.. I wasn't expecting that. I was expecting growling and snarling.. not biting... Zane said trailing off, he slightly relaxed when the other teen put the knife away, but he was still extremely aware of the situation. It could still go sour very quickly.
Zane's eyes widened when the teen started to close the distance between them. ''Yes, California... Zane said softly, his eyes darting down to Molly, She was pulling at the leash, wanting to get another bite out of the other guy. Molly. SIT Zane said, voice hard. Molly looked at him before sitting down, relaxing slightly. That didn't stop her from growling when the other guy kept getting closer.
Zane watched the teen, he froze when he saw that the other had a gun Merda he said taking a shuddering breath. This situation just got worse. His heart was pounding. His hands were twitching. He was half tempted to let Molly go, and attack this crazy person. He was glad the teen said he wouldn't stab him or Molly. That doesn't mean he wouldn't shoot either one of them for running. He stood there stiffly. ’’Thanks… I think… Fine. We'll talk. First off. What's your name? That’s usually a good place to start isn’t it? I’m going to reach into my pocket for the Gauze I was talking about.. for your hand.’’ Zane said moving slowly, his hand dipped into his pocket, grazed over the switchblade he carried with him nearly everywhere he went, except school. He grabbed the gauze, and pulled it out of his pocket. ’’Yea, Molly is a smart dog. She won’t hesitate to protect my family, my friends or me. Do you want the gauze? I know bites are bad, I usually use it for cuts’’ Zane said softly.

Now agreeing to treat the guy who'd threatened to kill you wasn't smart. For now, Gabriel felt on the fence about the whole thing. He shrugged as the boy apologized. For his dog defending? How silly could one get? Gabriel huffed slightly, brushing his hair out of his face. Sighing, Gabriel held out one hand for the gauze, looking half expectant. He didn't move any further, catching it when the other boy tossed it. The dog growled. Gabriel made a face at her, sticking out his tongue.
For the moment he looked like a little kid. He plopped down on the pavement, pulling the sleeve of his coat back to keep his hand free. It didn't seem he felt very worried about his 'captive' taking off. Molly seemed to have relaxed a bit, at least.
"It's Gabriel," he answered. "Familiar? Maybe ... " He thought for a moment, trying to think. "Maybe the TV or something." Meg had seen him on TV once, that was how they'd found him the last time. He shrugged. "I'd appreciate it if it didn't come up that you've seen me."
He took the gauze, pulling out his knife for a moment. Scowling, he pointed it at Molly. "Bad dog," he said sternly. A moment later he used it to cut off a strip of the gauze, bound his hand, and sighed again. The whole situation could be rather boring. Gabriel perked up as he heard the scuff of feet on sidewalk. Frowning, Gabriel turned his head like an owl and looked. Hmm.
This would certainly complicate things.
Watching the approaching person, Gabriel turned back around, unsure whether she had seen him or not. Probably not. Looked rather absorbed. He put the knife down on the sidewalk, tense as a wire. A stream of muttered curses passed his lips, and he shut his eyes.
"Shit." He glanced up at the boy. "We got company."

Although there usually was not a way in for Annabel through the front, there were plenty of paths along and through the woods that led to different places all over the town. Why she chose this one though, well there really was not a particular reason. It was mostly just due to being lost in thought and ambling along until she popped out on some street as she just had. She took her time, spacing each step as closely as possible to the one before it, scuffing her dark purple converse against the cement of the sidewalk. Her father had given her a call today, deciding it was a great day to tell her Chad was getting along well at home and that he seemed perfectly sane, it had only made Anna chuckle. There was no way she would ever believe a guy like him could be changed, he was to far derranged for that. He broke the line of trust when he swung the knife at her for the first time, and once it was broken there was no way in hell she'd ever believe in him again.
Hands cold from a wind that swept over her, she put them in the pockets of her black pea coat. She was dressed darker than normal today; black skinny jeans, grey tee with black splotches, black jacket, silver wings dangling from her ears, and of the purple converse which weren't even purple any more. Covered in years of dirt, grime, and use they were turning a blackish blue in spots along with the purple. She had the shoes as long as she'd been in America, even before that actually. She got them a few months before she left, it was hard to believe it had been almost two years since she first moved from Manchester.
Tripping over the little crevices between the slabs of cement on the sidewalk, Anna finally looked up. Just barely getting a glimpse of a par of eyes so dark and ominous and oh so familiar. She stopped. The breath escaped her and she stared, the black hair, the clothes, everything looked like before; was he just ageless, did nothing change? That's when she saw the blonde, for a moment she thought it was Chad, but upon better judgement she knew otherwise, it was the only good thing about the situation. However it still left how she was to handle her actions, should she leave the blonde and save her own sanity or what was left of it, or go forward and try to save the kid, not knowing what would end up happening to her.
She closed her eyes, counted to ten, and waited. If when she opened them again they were still there and not a figment of her imagination she would go. Not go as in leave, but go and tried to safe the blonde's only chance of survival, at least that's how she saw it. On the ten, Annabel re-opened her eyes and as much as she hoped otherwise they were still there. Well, she wasn't crazy yet, though who knew what would happen after the decision she had just made.
Stepping forward, she tried not to take a breath until she was behind him, she couldn't stand in front, facing him would mean that she was actually accepting that he was in the same town as her, again. Hadn't she gone through enough of his torment, or maybe he just wanted to finally off her? She clutched a fist and slanted her eyes. "To what do I owe this pleasure, Gabriel?"
She'd said it, the name which she'd hope she'd never have to hear coming out of her lips again.

Zane could tell Gabriel, that was his name, he thought, thought he was crazy for even thinking of helping him. That was the type of guy he was. He helped people, even if the situation wasn't the best, even if he was terrified. Molly growled, snapping her teeth when he tossed the gauze to Gabriel. He held in the slight giggle when the other teen stuck out his tongue at his dog, he bit his lip, a nervous habit of his. I'm Zee. He said giving out his nickname rather than his first name. ''Don't worry. My lips are sealed. I won't tell anyone I've seen you. Hopefully…. I’ll forget this situation even happened. Zane said looking at Gabriel, who was sitting on the ground, wrapping his hand.
He tensed again when he noticed the knife sitting on the ground. Tensed even more when he pointed it at his dog. Molly pulled the lease a few inches out of his hand, snapping her jaws at the Gabriel. ’’MOLLY!’’ He scolded. He pulled her back, pushed her backside down, so she was sitting next to him. Zane was confused… This guy, Gabriel, was strange… He seemed… almost childish at this very moment. He heard something come from down the sidewalk, then he saw, Gabriel, turn his head, to see who or whatever was coming down the sidewalk to where we were.
Zane squinted his eyes. It was Annabel, a girl from his school. A senior he believed. When she saw Gabriel, he saw her freeze. He looked at Gabriel, then back to Annabel. Looking back and forth quite a few times, kind of confused. Zane heard Gabriel let out a string of curses and say ‘we have company. On top of that he noticed how tense Gabriel was. He looked down at Molly, she too had spotted the other person, she let out a bark. ’’Molly , essera tranquilla’ Zane said softly, his hand knelt down, puzzled as to what to do with the rapidly drying blood on her muzzle. Si ottengono un bagno quando noi tornare a casa.Zane said, unconsciously speaking in Italian. He sometimes did that when he was nervous. And was nervous.
He looked up from his crouch, to see the girl, Annabel approaching them. Molly wanted to go forward to greet this new person, her attitude changing completely. NO longer was she the growling, snarling Pit Bull, she was back to Miss. Affectionate, which calmed him down, pleased. But what was he going to do when he got home, and out of this situation. How was he going to explain the dried blood, on Molly’s muzzle. His head snapped up when he heard her speak.

Molly snapped again, and Gabriel didn't seem to notice. His attention, although not his eyes, were focused on the girl standing on the sidewalk behind him. For a long beat after she spoke he sat in silence, then his shoulders shook with silent laughter. Poor Zee, caught in the middle of the whole situation. Clueless, helpless. Gabriel shut his eyes, wondering. She looked different, but the way she stood, the way she walked.
"Out of the mouth of babes come the damndest this," Gabriel muttered. "Even your eyelashes lie, Bels." Gabriel pushed himself to his feet, toes curling. The knife remained there, but Annabel wouldn't be so stupid as to believe it were the only weapon, even if Zee did keep his mouth shut.
The dog did a one-eighty, as did Gabriel. The Italian words were vaguely familiar to him, but not so that he understood. They were soothing words. Gabriel drew his lips in a thin line, stepping back until he came level with Zee. Annabel.
"You had your chance, Bels." He nodded at the knife on the ground. "You take it now?" His lips curled into a sneer, half snarl, a low growl in his throat as feral as Molly's.
He was, of course, referring to the episode in the woods. She would remember. Annabel looked a bit disoriented, as if she weren't sure he were real. What were the odds? Then again, they'd met again and again this way - like an invisible magnet that always brought them back together.
His memory found the one she called brother, and he wondered.
"Zee?" Gabriel echoed, glancing around. "Like the letter." His head bobbed, unsurprised. It was almost as if he had forgotten his Bels still stood there. "Never forget, not on purpose. You'd be a fool to forget."
Again with the feral grin. "You always live here?" he asked, calmly, ignoring her. She wouldn't like it. Not the Bels he remembered.

Post by annabel noir chessire on Sept 23, 2010 16:23:02 GMT -5
Annabel sneered, she couldn't tell if Gabriel was just trying to anger her or if he was just as coniving as ever. To her, he was like the reaper, the one who came to collect others souls. She didn't know why she thoufht of him like that, it's just that when she'd met him she'd seen ideas and images she never wanted to have to believe and yet ultimately she did. A horrible feeling came with the idea that maybe he just came to finish out the deed he had always said would come eventually but never did, somehow she always escaped death. With her brother and Chad, she wondered if it was punishment or luck, or maybe a mixture of both.
"Really now," Anna raised an eyebrow questioningly. "I only wish I was an infant because then I wouldn't understand half of the stuff I've seen." Annoyed that he always called her Bells she spoke again making sure to spit of his name with resentment. "Oh, you know I don't lie, Gabe." She watched carefully as he made movement, her eyes moving down to spot the knife. It was a farmiliar thing to her, she watched it, wondering just what would happen if she were to touch it.
Taken back out of the trance, Annabel losely understood what Zane had said, she would have better understood it had she stuck italian out, however french was more her style. However, she couldn't help but feel sorry for the boy, he probably had know idea just how large a danger her was in. She fought herself over whether to warn him to leave or not due to fear. But she wasn't afraid of what could happen to her, but she wouldn't be the cause for someone else being hurt by Gabriel.
She looked Zane in the eyes and spoke, "You should know that this guy here is a bringer of torment and delusions." Anna didn't know what else to add, if she told Zane to leave, well that would only make more of a reason for Gabriel to do something. Her theory was that it was fun for him to watch people struggle, she wondered if that surgery he got ever ended up working and maybe he'd just come to like being the death god he was; it wouldn't suprise her.
Her head turned when she heard his raspy voice once more, so he remembered what she did. Did he expect her to change anything from the time before, the corners of her lips turned down, disappointed at how little he thought of her. "Do you really think I would change my mind now?" She walked forward slowly, slipping one hand over the hilt of the knife. "You think I'd use this on someone like you? I'd rather be killed than kill someone Gabriel. I'm not like you, what I have left of my sanity keeps me in line to know that doing that would make me just as bad as you. I've said it once and I'll save it again, I'll never be like you!" Her voice rose as the words tumbled out, more ferocious with every beat, at the end of it all she threw the knife back down so it landed tilting to the side in the grass.
She was angry now, sure that was what he wanted, because he had gone onto ignore her and talk to the other blonde. Anna tried to bite her lip to stop hre from speaking , she made her sure she wouldn't outburst again, she would not let him suceed in pissing her off again. When she opened her voice to speak, cold soft words escaped her parted lips. "Since when were you one for chit chat," Annabel looked from Gabriel to Zane, "He isn't someone you should be talking to Zee."

Zane started to slowly back up, pulling his dog with him. . This situation just got all the more fucked up. He watched as Gabriel taunted Annabel, His eyes widen when Gabriel turns his attention from Annabel back to him. He froze, his hand twitching. Yes… Like the letter… And just because I say hopefully… Doesn’t mean I will. This… fucked up situation will be imprinted on my fucking brain until the day I die. Zane said with a slight snarl in his voice, his accent making it sound… strange
Zane watched Molly snarl, snapping her teeth when Gabriel turned on him, drawing closer. He took a few steps back, dragging Molly with him. He didn’t like this at all. He was wondering what history, Annabel and Gabriel had. He hasn’t seen her like this at all. Then again, He hasn’t seen her that often around campus, but when he had, she was kind of spacey… No.. I haven’t always lived here. Zane said shortly.
Zane stared at Annabel, watching her sneer, and speak at Gabriel. He was thoroughly confused, at the new person. Using his eyes, brows furrowed again he looked between Annabel and Gabriel. Gabriel taunting. He watched Annabel palm the hilt of the knife. Speaking, that she would rather be killed than kill someone. When Annabel spoke to him, Zane said, ’’I’ve noticed. You don’t think I would leave? I want to leave. I have to get ready for school, I have to now explain to my guardian, why Molly’s face is covered in blood, whenever I get the fuck out of this situations. Which is hopefully fucking soon. Zane said, his eyes cold.
’’Do you really think I want to be talking right now? If I had a choice, I’d be long gone. Zane said. He was fighting the urge to flee. He new if he did, Gabriel would take out that gun, and shoot him. He was getting extremely twitchy; this situation was setting him off, so bad. He was freaking out again. I’m afraid to ask… but how the hell do you know this guy?... Wait… don’t answer that. I don’t want to know.’’
Zane turned his attention to Molly, whose attitude changed, dramatically again. She continued to growl. Zane crouched down; he leaned against the wall, in a crouch. Zane ran his hand down her back, calming her down slightly, again that didn’t stop her from growling. His eyes going from Molly, to Annabel, then to Gabriel, and repeat. ’’Molly, tranquilla, si prega. He said softly, Molly quieted, a bit. Word Count: 429 Tag: Gabriel, Annabel Notes: I'm sorry it's short -.-

"So ... dramatic." Gabriel clasped his hands behind him, leaning forward to look Annabel over. He chuckled, rocked back on the heels of his feet and glanced skyward. In the back of his mind, what little sanity there was wanted to scream at Annabel. Unfortunately, Gabriel wasn't listening to it today - not at the moment.
Surely at some point Annabel would realize something was severely wrong. Well. More than it usually was. Gabriel frowned at the dog, then glanced at the wall. "Hold on a second."
In a few moments he'd managed to haul himself back over the wall like some form of a deranged monkey. He rummaged through his things, and in all forms, assumed that Zane and the other two would still be there. When he reached the wall again, an object in hand (the knife still lay on the sidewalk), they were still there.
Oh well.
For the most part he'd ignored their ridiculous words and Zee's little freak out. It amused him, but at the moment, he was feeling in a particularly good mood - not well in the head, but well in temperament. He hummed to himself and dropped a bottle of water on the grass over the wall, thinking how funny it would have been to grenade them with it. Water bottle busted - everywhere.
The dog wouldn't have found it funny.
"You can wash her off," he said, arms draped over the top of the wall, chin rested on the left. He looked like some bizarre sort of creature, a nymph or some sort.
"Bels knows all, doesn't she?" Gabriel remarked. "Bels knows where everything is."
